The Colony

The Colony, also known as “The City by the Lake,” is located along the shoreline of Lake Lewisville. Residents enjoy myriad recreational opportunities, including camping, fishing, swimming, boating, hiking, picnicking and cycling. The area is also home to several prestigious golf courses. The Colony was recently named No. 1 Sportstown in Texas by Sports Illustrated magazine and the National Parks and Recreation Association.
